Senior Programs
Parks & Recreation offers a wide variety of exciting summer activities and trips for anyone 55 years and finer. Activity fees include transportation, admission fees, tickets, and hotel when necessary. Meals are not included in the activity fee and are the responsibility of the participant. Participation is limited, and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration opened at 7:30 AM on April 1. NEW this year, there will be a 10% discount if you register for 6 or more activities.
2019 Senior Programs
Sailing Tour in Frisco
Sit back, relax, and enjoy a two hour sailing tour on the dazzling clear water of Lake Dillon. The group will board a 22’ Ensign Boat with a captain at noon. Bring a drink and a picnic lunch to enjoy on the water. Enjoy spectacular views of the Continental Divide, Buffalo Mountain, Red Mountain, and 10 Mile Range.

Cost: $60 (Includes Transportation and Sailing, participants are responsible for bringing their own lunch).

Mamma Mia! Matinee at Lake Dillon Theatre
“A mother, a daughter, three possible dads, and a trip down the aisle you’ll never forget!” Come see a matinee of Mamma Mia! at the Lake Dillon Theatre. Enjoy appetizers and a complimentary beverage in the lobby before the show, all part of the Lake Dillon Theater Seniors Day.

Blackhawk/Central City Casinos Day Trip
Try your luck on a day trip to Blackhawk and Central City Casinos. You will be dropped off at the Lodge Casino, and the free city bus can take you into any casino in Blackhawk or Central City. Enjoy the afternoon gambling, having a leisurely lunch, and exploring!

Leadville Train Ride
Take a breathtaking 2.5 hour train ride through the untamed wilderness of the San Isabel National Forest. First, explore the town of Leadville, the “highest incorporated city in North America”, and its rich mining heritage. Then climb aboard for a thrilling historic train ride. Eat lunch in town or bring a lunch to enjoy on the train ride.

Blackhawk/Central City Casinos Overnighter
Are you feeling lucky? Choose your adventure, two days to gamble, see the sights, take in a show, and enjoy meals at the locations of your choice. Stay at the one of the hotels in the heart of Blackhawk, and within walking distance of several casinos. A FREE shuttle is also available to Central City.

Cost: Double Occupancy: $75 | Single Occupancy: $130 (Includes Transportation & Hotel)

Colorado Rockies Baseball
Enjoy a day at the ballpark as the Colorado Rockies take on the St. Louis Cardinals. First pitch is at 1:10 PM, and the group will arrive early enough to watch warm up and grab lunch.
