Notary Services - Public

notary-stamp“Notary” or “Notary Public” means an individual appointed and commissioned to perform a notarial act by the Secretary of State (C.R.S. 24-21-502(8)). A “Notarial Officer” means a notary public or other individual authorized to perform a notarial act (C.R.S. 24-21-502(7)).

Notaries in Colorado can administer oaths and affirmations and certify copies. They can also take acknowledgements, depositions, witness signatures, affidavits, verifications, and other sworn testimony or statements.

Notary Public Hours

Notary services are ONLY available to the public three hours a day, three days during the week. The following outlines the set schedule. Anyone wishing to use the services of a city notary public should check in at the City Hall Front Desk (124 10th Street) Monday, Wednesday or Thursday between 10:30am to 1:30pm.  Don't forget to bring identification,
