Emerald Mountain Trail System
?These days, many kids grow up surrounded by screens. They’re disconnected from the natural world, and from the joy of authentic adventure. At Avid4 Adventure summer camps, we’re on a mission to get kids excited and empowered by outdoor adventure. We help kids gain confidence, make new friends, and improve their skills in our core outdoor sport activities. We offer day camps as well as extended overnight camp options. All camps provide daily adventures in our core sport activities: paddling, biking, rock climbing, or hiking. Middle and high school campers mountain bike Emerald Mountain Trail System with groups no larger than 13 campers and 2 guides. ?

This is a one-week residency by the Drepung Loseling monks at the library, Aug. 9-14, 2022. They will be creating a sand mandala in Library Hall over the course of the week, in addition to giving public talks inside the library, hosting a puja ceremony on the lawn outside Library Hall, and doing the traditional ceremony on the final day where they wipe away the mandala inside Library Hall and then the community follows them around the lawn, into the parking lot to send the sand down the river around sunset. We have done this before, 7 and 12 years ago. All events are free and open to the public.
Yoga on the Green is held Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 9 – 10 am throughout the summer, weather permitting. Meet on the Green. Please bring a mat or towel, water, sunscreen, and bug spray. Please walk, bike, or carpool to yoga whenever possible as we have limited parking. If you drive, you must park in designated Botanic Park parking spaces. Overflow parking exists on Ski Town Way.
As a COVID-19 work-around, these free legal clinics are being held by telephone for now. Instead of clinic patrons coming to your local public library (which has limited access), your local library staff will schedule all appointments.

Volunteer attorneys will assist each clinic patron individually by telephone during regular clinic hours, to answer questions and explain the process and procedure for all areas of civil litigation, including family law, property law, probate law, collections, appeals, landlord-tenant law, small claims, veterans issues, and civil protection orders.
ALL FREE. Please call (970) 879-0240 to be added to the sign-up sheet. Space is limited.

The Farmers Market is held each week and provides access to locally grown and raised food to the community. Additionally, we provide opportunities for local artists to show their work and for community groups to connect with the greater population. As an economic development organization with the responsibility of ensuring the vitality of Downtown Steamboat Springs, it is also our goal to drive traffic to downtown to increase our sales tax base. The Market is every Saturday 9-2 from June 11 to September 25.
The Colorado Mustang Stampede will be held August 19-20, 2022 in beautiful Steamboat Springs, CO. In 2017 a group of community members created the 24-Hour ‘Boat Cruise fundraising event. The idea came from a desire to affect real change on a local level in a world that was starting to feel more divided than ever. We chose Integrated Community as the beneficiary.
The route is a 10.3 mile loop around Steamboat Springs. It is a combination of bike path, dirt roads and side streets. The loop starts downtown by Stehlay Park and makes its way up and around Mt Werner Cir. before looping back downtown.
