STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, COLORADO-October 20, 2023-A heavy-duty motor grader with a twelve-foot blade will be on Blackmer Road early next week in a project that looks to smooth out the rough spots. Additional work may occur the following week if necessary.
The project will reestablish, clean, and regrade ditches and damage areas along Blackmer Road up to the Quarry. The heavy equipment machine work will take place on Monday, October 23, and Tuesday, October 24, between 8 to 5pm.
Signs will be posted at the bottom of Blackmer, and outdoor enthusiasts are encouraged to consider other locations for recreation on these days.
The motor grader may be encountered at anytime and anywhere along the road. If in this area, be aware of construction equipment, use caution and leash dogs.
