Homecoming Parade NewsFlash

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, COLORADO-September 28, 2023-The Sailors will have their school pride on full display tomorrow, September 29, when the homecoming parade rolls through downtown Steamboat Springs.

The Steamboat Springs High School homecoming parade is scheduled to start around 1:40pm on 2nd Street before making its way to Oak Street via 4th Street. The procession will head down Oak Street from 4th to 9th Streets, then east on Pine Street for the return to the high school. The parade is anticipated to be over by 3:15pm.

Steamboat Springs Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue will lead the procession which includes the high school band, dance/cheer squad, drama, football team, volleyball seniors, and floats from each class including this year’s Royalty.

While well outside the prime commute period, motorists should anticipate encountering rolling closures and slight delays as the parade makes its way around old town.

Wear your red, black, and white to show your Sailor Spirit and cheer on each class Friday afternoon along the parade route. Later that evening, the Steamboat Sailors Varsity Football game kicks off at 7pm against Eaton.
