The Steamboat Springs City Council holds work sessions the second Tuesday of the month starting at 5:00 PM. Public Comment is NOT accepted during work sessions.
The Steamboat Springs City Council typically meets the first three Tuesdays of every month (the second Tuesday is typically a work session) and the meetings usually begin at 5:00 PM.

The Farmers Market is held each week and provides access to locally grown and raised food to the community. Additionally, we provide opportunities for local artists to show their work and for community groups to connect with the greater population. As an economic development organization with the responsibility of ensuring the vitality of Downtown Steamboat Springs, it is also our goal to drive traffic to downtown to increase our sales tax base. The Market is every Saturday 9-2 from June 11 to September 25.
As a COVID-19 work-around, these free legal clinics are being held by telephone for now. Instead of clinic patrons coming to your local public library (which has limited access), your local library staff will schedule all appointments.
Free legal clinic for parties who have no attorney, will be featured from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM on the SECOND TUESDAY of each month through your local Routt County Libraries.
Volunteer attorneys will assist each clinic patron individually by telephone during regular clinic hours, to answer questions and explain the process and procedure for all areas of civil litigation, including family law, property law, probate law, collections, appeals, landlord-tenant law, small claims, veterans issues, and civil protection orders.

Bring the whole family and join the Routt County Humane Society for a funtastic, furkid photo shoot. On Sunday, July 24, the Routt County Humane Society will be hosting Pup-a-razzi, a furkid photo shoot with professional photographers, Danielle Zimmerer and Lee Cox, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m at The Art Depot (1001 13th Street) in Steamboat Springs.

Hosting team practice for Routt County Athletes. The mission, Empowering young women through mountain biking to create brighter futures and build stronger communities. We plan to host practice two days per week throughout the outdoor riding season.
Yoga on the Green is held Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 9 – 10 am throughout the summer, weather permitting. Meet on the Green. Practicing on the Park Green is unlike any class you’ve ever taken. Surrounded by the beauty of nature, delicate gardens and serene pond, you’ll find the peace and stillness is unmatched in the Botanic Park. Please bring a mat or towel, water, sunscreen, and bug spray. Please walk, bike, or carpool to yoga whenever possible as we have limited parking. If you drive, you must park in designated Botanic Park parking spaces. Overflow parking exists on Ski Town Way.

?These days, many kids grow up surrounded by screens. They’re disconnected from the natural world, and from the joy of authentic adventure. At Avid4 Adventure summer camps, we’re on a mission to get kids excited and empowered by outdoor adventure. We help kids gain confidence, make new friends, and improve their skills in our core outdoor sport activities. We offer day camps as well as extended overnight camp options. All camps provide daily adventures in our core sport activities: paddling, biking, rock climbing, or hiking. Middle and high school campers mountain bike Emerald Mountain Trail System with groups no larger than 13 campers and 2 guides. ?
Founded in 2017, Rise Steamboat is a donation-based fitness program, offering weekly circuit training workouts and other wellness classes. Each summer season, a collection of Steamboat area non-profit organizations are highlighted, receiving 100% of class donations. Since its inception, Rise Steamboat has nearly $50,000 for Steamboat Springs area non-profits.
A pleasant and entertaining outdoor musical experience for the Steamboat community and visiting guests. The performances will include both local and guest artists.
The Steamboat Springs Free Summer Concert Series (SSFSCS/the Series) began in 1993 as a small concert series with several hundred in attendance and presented on the lawn of the Routt County Court House, the community gathering space in the heart of downtown Steamboat Springs. Started by a small record shop owner and friends, the Series now features 5 concerts per year with attendance averaging 3,500 to 7,000 per concert for an annual average of 25,000. The SSFSCS boasts nationally recognized artists in the area of pop-rock, reggae, bluegrass, blues, and funk. The series is a gathering for all ages and has become truly one of the signature family events in the valley. Audience sizes can fluctuate relative to the performer’s popularity or how the concert is schedule in relation to signature event weekends. With a great mix of locals and visitors the concerts are both a social event for those who call Steamboat home and an awesome addition to any vacation to the Yampa Valley.
The Tour de Steamboat is an annual bicycle event that brings together 1,200 cyclists for a one-day ride through beautiful Northwest Colorado. We host three different road ride routes—26, 46, and 66. We also host 2 gravel routes, a 100 mile, and a new 50 Mile route. See our Routes page for more details. There is something for riders of all ages and abilities. We are a non-competitive event, and participants are encouraged to ride at their own pace and enjoy the majestic scenery in our part of the world! We offer superb aid stations, support, and end of the ride barbecue and craft beer garden.
For over 30+ years, Steamboat Doubles has reigned as one of Colorado's premier volleyball tournaments. Now with 22 different divisions and over 600 teams in attendance, Steamboat is the second largest adult 2x2 tournament in Colorado, one of the largest events in the country and a "must play" on the Colorado Mountain Tourney circuit.
