2023 Projects
Soda Creek Bridge Rehabilitation
The Oak and 11th Street bridges are scheduled to be rehabilitated to reduce the erosion caused by the flowing stream. As the 11th and Oak Street bridges are within a few hundred feet of each other, mitigation work at both structures will be conducted concurrently for both cost efficiency, due to the interrelated nature of the bridge hydraulics, and to contain the construction impacts in a single year. Design work has been in process since 2020 and was completed in early 2022, with constructed slated for 2023. This project will extend the life of the existing structures by 10 years or more.
