Steps to successfully submit a license/permit application to the City Clerk's office.
Please register on the CityView Portal. It is recommended that you use Google Chrome as your browser; as it is the preferred engine for the best performance from CityView. Chrome also has the option to save the user name and password for you.
Once you have registered on the CityView Portal. Login and go to the Licensing links. Click “Apply for a License”
Complete the application for the license or permit you are applying for.
Upload the application and all documents that apply along with the State Fee receipt. Click to Pay State Fee online (State Online Pay Portal).
Once all documents are uploaded to the portal, you can pay the city fee online at CityView.
Email the City Clerk that your documents have been submitted.
Special Event Liquor Permit
A Special Event Liquor Permit is issued for the sale, by drink only, of malt, vinous and spirituous liquor or fermented malt beverages. Applicants for a special events permit must be non-profit and registered with the Secretary of State for purposes of social, fraternal, patriotic political or athletic nature and not for pecuniary gain; or which is a regularly chartered branch, lodge, or chapter of a national or philanthropic institution.
All applications must be submitted at least 30 days in advance of the event. A maximum of 15 days of events may be held, separately or in combination, each calendar year. The number of permit days per applicant are 15 days per calendar year. The fee for a special events permit is $150.00 payable to the City of Steamboat Springs.
