    Join the Tread of Pioneers Museum and Steamboat Creates for a free guided tour of Steamboat’s most iconic historic and cultural sites in downtown Steamboat Springs. Start at the historic Art Depot on 13th St. for free hot cocoa and a guided tour of this treasured landmark and newly refurbished art studio caboose. Then stroll through the downtown area for a specially curated tour of historic buildings, mineral springs, history stories, cultural sites, hidden surprises, and art murals. The tour ends at the Tread of Pioneers Museum where you can continue to discover the history and heritage of Steamboat Springs through its exhibits and historic homes pending the museum is allowed to be open with current COVID-19 restrictions. Half-price museum admission for all tour participants.

  7. Free Legal Clinic

    March 9, 2021, 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ As a COVID-19 work-around, these free legal clinics are being held by telephone for now. Instead of clinic patrons coming to your local public library (which has limited access), your local library staff will schedule all appointments.

    A NEW free legal clinic for parties who have no attorney, will be featured from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM on the SECOND TUESDAY of each month through your local Routt County Libraries. As a COVID-19 work-around, these free legal clinics are being held by telephone for now. Instead of clinic patrons coming to your local public library (which has limited access), your local library staff will schedule all appointments. Volunteer attorneys will assist each clinic patron individually by telephone during regular clinic hours, to answer questions and explain the process and procedure for all areas of civil litigation, including family law, property law, probate law, collections, appeals, landlord-tenant law, small claims, veterans issues, and civil protection orders. ALL FREE. Please call (970) 879-0240 to be added to the sign-up sheet. Space is limited.

    Each month Mountain Tap Brewery selects four local nonprofit organizations to support. On Token Tuesday, each guest receives a wooden token for every craft beer they purchase. Before leaving Mountain Tap Brewery, they can select which of the four organizations they want to support by depositing their token in that organization’s Token Tuesday box. At the end of the month, Mountain Tap Brewery empties the boxes, adds up the tokens for each organization and presents each one with $1 for every token they received. March beneficiaries are Choose When, Community Agriculture Alliance, Partners in Routt County and Routt County Council on Aging.
