The Parks and Recreation Commission serves as an advisory board to City Council to promote an enhanced quality of life by offering a broad range of safe and accessible resources including parks, open space, trails, recreational services and facilities which invite all to Explore, Play, Learn and Preserve.
Vision
The Parks and Recreation Commission is committed to identify , advocate and provide high quality and sustainable recreational, open space & cultural amenities for all citizens and visitors while balancing the need to maintain and preserve the resources entrusted to us.
Normally the Parks & Recreation Commission meets the second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 5:00pm
